In a planned week of recovery, I am sure putting out some quick burst of watts. Was meant to be taking these group rides easy, but I manage to up my 5min watt game in this ride, and got group dropped which took me almost 10 mins to catch up.

To see some of the highlights of this ride, please feel free to check out my other videos from the night.

The second Crit race of the night, and I wasn’t sure I even had it in me to for this one, as the end of the other crit almost had me spewing.

I rode the pack and kept the watts down, and there were a couple of races I had noticed from the previous race that simple out sprinted me at the end. So this this time, with 1km to go, I thought I will make an early break away and give it a crack.

Keeping my eye on the leaderboard, I held on for dear life and managed top spot with a couple seconds difference.

Double Crit nights are really taxing.

The first of the 2 crit races where the game plan is to hang on to the last 400m and hit the sprint, but I need to read the race more when it comes to that point as there was a slight break which I missed.

Also sprint against a racer hitting 22.2w/kg again is never going to get me any podium results.

I ended up coming 5th, but a 3rd ZwiftPower result.

I always like these 9km Zwift races. But weird thing is I am the only B grade rider in tonight’s ride. So I hang on the the A grade rider until the last 1km where I just don’t have anything left in the legs to have a strong finish.

But a win is a win isn’t it? I’ll that that participation award, thank you!

It’s a TT, and this time I am prepared. I plan to just slog it out and ride it 100% off the saddle (which I don’t think you are meant to do in a TT, please educate me???) So for this slog I am setting the trainer to 0% and just go flat out for the duration of this race.

With plenty of drops, I end up getting a new bike and wheels, most likely never to be used again. But what else are you meant to do with them, exchange for Bitcoin?

Well this ended up being my hardest watts race to date at 358w, and end up with a ZwiftPower result of 2nd

This ride was part of the 3R Watopia Road To Sky – 1 Lap group ride held on the 07/03/2021. Playing around with the trainer setting and changed it to 50% before this ride. But in the end watts are watts.

In this ride, I take part in the Rugby Ride Challenge Day One 1/6 on the 06-03-2021 and finish up riding to 100kms to collect internet points on strava.

I did get dropped by one of the first groups around 40mins as I couldn’t keep up, and held on to the end with the race organiser.

This was one of those races that is a bit later in the week, and a bit longer than I usually ride. So I thought I would give it a crack to see how I go. About half way my legs are toast and its just a matter of hanging in there.

I was yo-yo’ing around with cadence in consistent, and dropping watts left right and center. Good thing is there is much room for improvement.
